Ms. Kadesha Williams

Kadesha LaBree Williams went to her heavenly home at the early age of 26. Heaven welcomed her on June 30, 2022. Although we could have never prepared our hearts for such a tragedy to occur, we are certain that God received our angel, as He placed her hands in His hands and transitioned her to heaven to be joined with her son, King. Kadesha was born on February 26, 1996. She was a graduate of Penn Foster, Class of 2015. Kadesha cherished life and was very supportive of her family and friends. She devoted herself to her beautiful sons, whom she loved dearly. Kadesha was a free spirit. She loved singing and doing hair. She was a very intelligent, talented, caring, and humorous individual. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Kadesha was preceded in death by her son, King Williams; grandfather, George Vernon Lewis; maternal great-grandparents, Helen and James Williams; paternal great-grandparents, Gladys and James Gregory; great grandmother, Elnora Lewis; uncle, Paul Sidney Jr.; and other loved ones. Kadesha is survived by her loving and devoted mother, Samantha Williams; loving and devoted father, Gregory Battle, Jr. (Fatima Anderson); children, Makhi and Mikel Hall; sisters, Makaila Williams, Kiyasia Goode, and D'Ziyah Battle; brothers, Samari and Tayvon Johnson; bonus brother, Damonye Anderson; grandparents, Lori Kay Williams (Harvey) and Arvitta B. Sidney (Paul Sr.); aunts, Latoya Williams (devoted), Tonda Gregory, Bonnie Lee (Andrew), Lashay Gregory, all of Petersburg, VA; Tiffany and Devin Sidney of NC; Leslie Martin of NY; uncles, Randy Williams and Demond Brown of Petersburg, VA, and Ryan Sidney of NC; a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins too many to name; godmothers, Renita Lindsey and Danielle Davis; godfather, Willie Jackson, all of Petersburg, VA. A host of devoted family and friends. Among her devoted family and friends are Michael Hall, Albony Robinson and Simonee Brown, all of Petersburg, VA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Third Baptist Church, 550 Farmer Street, Petersburg, VA. Rev. Dr. Antonio A. Tucker, Sr., eulogist. Interment will follow at Mt. Minnis Cemetery, Colonial Heights, VA. Public viewing will be held from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 Tucker & Fisher Celebration of Life Chapel, 415 Halifax Street, Petersburg, VA. The family will assemble at 2:00 p.m., on the day of the Service at 419 N. Dunlop Street, Petersburg, VA.
