Ms. La'Myricle Lee

In the afternoon of August 5, 2020, La'Myricle (LeLe) Lee unexpectedly went to be with the Lord. She was born on April 8, 2003 in Blackstone, Virginia to Rickey M. Lee of Buckingham, VA and Ruth Ann Walker of Norfolk, VA. LeLe was raised in Norfolk, VA and spent some of her high school career in Hopewell, VA. La'Myricle, affectionately known as LeLe, had a smile that could light up a room. She loved being around her friends and family, and she really enjoyed "chatting it up" with everyone in video chats. She truly loved her family and has a cell phone full of on-the-spot pictures and videos with her loved ones. Scholastically, she was an honor student, and was a part of the National Honor Society, Band, and even ran track for a while. She was about to complete her last year of school as a senior. Her first job was working for Chick-Fil-A, and since then, she was never found without a job. She was also an aspiring entrepreneur and talked about how she wanted to start her own business frequently. Additionally, she attended Second Coming International Ministries, where her father is the pastor in Hopewell, VA. LeLe knew who God was in her life. LeLe leaves to cherish her memories: her parents, mother, Ruth (Ann) Walker and father, Rickey Myron Lee Sr. (Tiffanie); grandmother: Cecile Walker; grandfathers: Rickey Gough (Amanda) and Dur'Shay Foster (Beverly); sisters: Paradise "Pari" Smith, Wishes Coley, Kyra Jones, and Kalanie Le'Shay Lee; brothers: Rickey Myron Lee Jr. and Kwame Samuels; uncles: Essex Johnson, Gerald Lee, and Jeremiah Lee; aunts: Kachine Gough, Natalie Pugh, Sharelle Foster, and Whitney Foster; nieces: Levellah Batts-Coley, Promise Sullivan, Hea'Ven Batts-Coleman, and Dream Smith; nephew: Kwame' Saunders; her Church family at S.C.I.M. and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends. Please continue to keep the family lifted up in prayer. Because of CDC regulations for COVID-19, unfortunately, we will need to limit the number of attendees at the Homegoing Service on Friday for Ms. La'Myricle Lee. Her viewing for friends and coworkers will be on Thursday, August 13, 2020 between 2 p.m. -8 p.m. at the E. Vaughan Wray Funeral Home. Due to the of limited seating, the funeral on Friday is reserved for her family and close loved ones. Thank you for working with the family to keep everyone socially distant and safe. The family wants to thank you for all of your support and love shown. ***Everyone must where a mask at both services to enter the building. If you do not have a face covering, a mask will be provided to you on site for your convenience*** A Celebration of Life for La'Myricle will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 12 Noon at E. Vaughn Wray Funeral Establishment, 5873 Poplar Hall Dr., Norfolk, VA. Bishop Dur'Shay Foster will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park,1000 E. Indian River Rd., Norfolk, VA. Public viewing for La'Myricle will be Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at E. Vaughn Wray Funeral Establishment. A face mask/covering will be required while attending all services and viewings. Please join us in comforting the Lee/Walker Family by uplifting them with your prayers.
