Ms Carolyn Inetta Green

January 31, 1952 - August 21, 2020

Carolyn Inetta Green was born on January 31, 1952, to the late Shirley Mae Kelley and Walter Lee Kelley, Sr., in Newport News, Va. She departed this earthly life on August 21, 2020, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va. Carolyn raised two nephews, Nikko and Lemar as her own children. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate sister, aunt, and friend to many who loved her. She was a Godly woman. She attended Agape Hands Cathedral Church in Newport News, Va., led by Pastor Bobby L. Holden. She worked at Riverside Regional Medical Center as a Custodian until her health failed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shirley Mae Kelley and Walter Lee Kelley, Sr.; her sisters, Beulah and Brenda Kelley; her niece, Martha Kelley; and brother-in-law, Tommie Robinson, Sr. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her nephews, Nikko and Lemar Kelley of the home; four sisters, Sharon Spencer (Andre), Donna Marshall (Curtis), of Hampton, Va.; Valerie Woods of Pennsylvania; Vanessa Robinson of Aulander, NC; five brothers, Reginald Green of Hampton, VA, Emmette Kelley (Janeene); Walter Lee Kelley, Jr. of Newport News, VA; Keith Kelley of North Carolina, and Terry Kelley of Pennsylvania; one aunt, Erenstine Saunders (Edward) of Pennsylvania; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and other friends.
