January 16, 1970 - June 1, 2021
"We looked at your face and saw the pain." We asked God to take away your pain and He had a better plan for you." On June 1, 2021, in the morning hours, Charles Norman Parker took the papers that God had sent to him by the angels that his earthly job was complete; he gained his wings that day. P-Nut as he was affectionately called by family and friends was born on January 16, 1970, to the late Carolyn A. Parker and James A. Engle in Newport News, VA. P-Nut attended the Newport News Public Schools. He held various jobs over the years. An avid Dallas Cowboy fan, he would talk highly and defensively about his team (Dem Boyz), as he would say. Now, if you want to know anything about "Michael Jackson", he was your "Moon Walking", "Mimic Talking", "Dancing Machine". He was a Michael Jackson fan for life and made sure you knew it. Charles is preceded in heaven by his mother and father; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Ora Belle Parker; paternal grandparents, James and Georgia Engle, and his sister Joyce. He leaves a legacy of treasured and precious memories; his loving and devoted fiance of twenty-seven years Regina Davis of the home; three daughters, Shauneequa Branch (Eric) of Texas, Kadeza Alston, and Keira Alston both of Newport News, VA; one son, Tyree Davis of the home; three brothers, James Parker (Lavonda) of Dallas, TX, Sean Parker (Tasha) of Covington, GA, And Denzel Camm of Hampton, VA; numerous grandchildren; his stepmother, Regina Engle of Newport News, VA.; three loving and caring aunts, Marjorie Cherry (Alonzo) of Newport News, VA, Deborah Banks of Richmond, VA, and Jeanette Cartwright of Newport News, VA; and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who will truly miss him. The family will be planning a balloon release at King-Lincoln Park. All are welcome to attend.
