Darlene T. Fisher, 52, transitioned from Labor to Reward on Friday, September 11, 2020 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1968 to the late James R. Fisher and Arlene Branch Fisher. She was employed at Andrew's Grill, Petersburg, VA for many years until her health began to decline. Darlene was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Darlene was preceded in death by her father, James Fisher; sister, Victoria Fisher; grandchild, Khalia Prothro; grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Branch; step-mother, Beulah Branch, James R. Fisher, Sr. and Pearl Fisher. She leaves to cherish her many memories her daughter, Dariesha Fisher; sons, Anthony Brown, Jr. (Shamita Gatlings) and Allen Clayton Adams; devoted friend, Allen Adams; mother, Arlene Fisher; sisters, Lisa Fisher and Debra Fisher; brother, Michael Fisher (Jennifer Johnson); grandchildren, Khanae Prothro and Jhalia Massey; aunts, Alice Vinson, Louise Evans, Shirley Ruffin (Reginald), P. Juanita Abram, Eunice Fisher (Thomas), Geraldine Simmons (Lonnie), and Geneva Fisher; uncles, Earnest Fisher (Dorothy), Eldridge Fisher (Rose) and Norman Watford; nieces, Arlisa, LaToya, Nicole and Angel; nephews, Michael, Jeffrey, Richard, Durrell, DaMario, Renard, JaQuan and Jeremy; a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, among them devoted Joe. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Tucker and Fisher Funeral Home with Evangelist Yvette Lewis Hill Harris, officiating and Pastor Rashaun M. Hill, Fortress Of God International, Chester VA, eulogist. Interment to follow in Wilkerson Memorial Park, Petersburg, VA.
