Ms. Hazel Dorothea Harris born April 7, 1950, in Newport News, VA to the late James and Martha Riddick, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2020. She attended True Deliverance and Praise Ministry until her health began to fail. She was a resident of the James River Convalescent Center. She is survived by two children: daughter, Michelle Ralph (son-in-law James Ralph); son, Leroy Rawles (Tamara Duck); two grandchildren, David Riddick, and Jehora Riddick; three great-grandchildren Nazir Porter Riddick, Jayvion Rawles, and Quincy White; and one brother, William Riddick. A viewing will be held from 12 noon until 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at the M.E. Fisher Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2020, at the Chapel of the M.E. Fisher Funeral Home, 2117 Madison Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607.
