Mr. James Harold Tucker, Sr.

Mr. James Harold Tucker Sr. passed away peacefully on April 20, 2022. Born to willie A. Tucker and Hattie L. Tucker in Nash County North Carolina on October 24, 1952. Butch, affectionately called by family and friends. He graduated from Huntington High School Class of 1970. After graduating Butch joined the Army. Furthering his career by attending Peninsula Business College. He then received his degree in Automotive Mechanics from Thomas Nelson Community College. He was also employed by the City of Newport News. Butch's never-ending ambitions lead him to become the owner of Tucker's Janitorial Inc- the owner of Moto Pair inspection station both in Hampton, VA. Butch was a sweet, loving, caring, smart, intelligent hard-working family man. He loved cooking and baking and being fantastic in his family was everything to him. Butch loved the Lord with all of his heart. To know him was to love him. We love, you Butch, and will carry you in our heart forever but God loves you Best. Some of his favorite songs were, Kenny G. "Forever In Love", Bee Gee's " Too much Heaven", Santana's "Samba Pati", Phyllis Hyman's "Confusion"; he also enjoyed Issac Hayes. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Rose Tucker, a daughter Keisha J.Smallwood(Lamars D. Smallwood). Two sons, James H. Tucker Jr., Delvechio C. Tucker Sr. Four grandchildren: Deshavion Tucker, Samesha Eley, Freddie Huffman Jr., Delvechio Tucker Jr. Sister's Lucille Troy (Alonzo), Angela Rollings(David), Celia Parham, Monica Tucker. Brothers Larry Tucker(Angie), Jimmy Tucker(Mona), Terence Tucker (Jerrlyn), and Samuel Tucker
