Mrs. Marjorie Faulk
February 28, 1940 - March 24, 2022
On Thursday night, March 24, 2022, following a long illness, Marjorie Lee Faulk, surrounded by her loving, caring family, fell asleep in the arms of her Savior. Marjorie Lee Faulk, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, was born on February 28th, 1940 to Elisha Lee Sr. and Helena Virginia Quivers Lee in Newport News, VA. Marjorie graduated from Huntington High School in 1958. After attending Norfolk State University briefly, Marjorie attended the Vocational-Technical Center and Dixie Hospital School of Practical Nursing in Hampton, VA, and graduated in 1971 with the highest grade in the class. Marjorie worked at Hampton General Hospital in Hampton, Whittaker Hospital in Newport News. After leaving the nursing field Marjorie became a stay-at-home mom. Marjorie was an active member of the Calvary Seventh Day Adventist Church in Newport News, VA. She served as a Sabbath School Secretary and a Sabbath School Teacher for the Children's Division. She was also actively involved in the Adventist Community Services ministry. Lastly, she was a member and president of Calvary's Sanctuary Choir until she was physically unable to continue. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 56 years, Edward J. Faulk, Miguel Faulk (Son), Miguel D. Faulk (Grandson), Kylam Faulk (Great Grandson), brothers, Samuel Lee (Eth-l) and Daniel Lee, sisters, Margaret Ellis and Joann Merritt, a host of nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by Elisha Lee (Father), Helena Virginia Quivers Lee (Mother), Elisha Lee Jr. (Brother), Theodore (Teddy) Wells (Brother), Emanuel Lee (Brother), Frances Thomas (Sister).
