Mr. Nathaniel Rouse, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Nathaniel Rouse, Jr., (also known as "BayBay"), 66, transitioned into eternal life Monday, May 30, 2022 at his residence in Hopewell, Virginia. BayBay was born on April 28, 1956 to the late Golden Grandison and Nathaniel Rouse, Sr. He was member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of God In Christ, Petersburg, Virginia under the leadership of Pastor Jeffery L. Dodson, Sr., where he was a faithful member for many years. He is preceded in death along with his parents, by his two sisters, Barbara Grandison and Mary G. Jones; a niece, Angela Grandison; two great-nephews, Tony and Quintin Grandison. BayBay leaves to cherish his memories: two nephews, Marion Harris, Jr., (Michelle) and Daniel Harris (Christine); two nieces, Golden and Nattie Grandison and a host of great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and friends. A special thanks to James River Hospice for the Care and Services provided during his illness. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Tucker & Fisher Celebration of Life Chapel, 415 Halifax St., Petersburg, VA, Rev. Michael Jones, eulogist. The service will be livestreamed. Public viewing will be Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
