Celebration Of Life Mr. Sandy Debraux Anu was a caring father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He left this world on February 26, 2022, at the age of 61. Sandy was born to Meredith and Thurman Debraux Sr. on September 7, 1960; and received his GED from Newport News Community College. Sandy worked as a professional painter, carpenter, and handyman. Sandy also enjoyed writing poems, singing, and playing basketball on the neighborhood basketball court, and converted to his newfound faith of Muslim. Sandy has two children; Charmain and Delvin Johnson. They enjoyed having long, valuable conversations with their father. Sandy Debraux Anu was preceded in death by his grandmother Pearl Taylor; mother Meredith Debraux; father Thurman Debraux Sr.; brother Kimmie Debraux and sister Stephanie Debraux. Sandy is survived by his two children, daughter Charmain Johnson; son Delvin Johnson, seven grandchildren; Jamal, Sirr Amir, Daquan, Tiyanna, Delvin Jr., Zyreon, and Amir. Three brothers; Thurman Debraux Jr., Curtis Debraux (Alison), and Shelton Debraux (Sandra). Four sisters; Katherine C. Williams (Aaron), Vivianne Debraux, Sheryl Debraux, Terri Lynn Slayton, a special aunt, Vivian Peeples, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
