Tinita Lynna Wofford (Nikky) as she is fondly called, daughter of the late Nelsene Wofford Lucas and the late Donald Sills graced this world with her presence on March 26th, 1973, received her angel wings, and took flight from this earthly realm on August 29th, 2021. Nikky was introduced to Christ at an early age. She was buried and resurrected with Christ by way of baptism at the Galilee Baptist Church under the pastorship of the late Reverend Sirlister B. Byrd. Nikky received her education in the Newport News Public School System. Upon graduating from Homer L. Ferguson High School, she received her Associate's degree in Accounting from Thomas Nelson Community College. She also took culinary classes at Johnson & Wales in professional cake making. Nikky was a devoted mother to her two sons, and her granddaughters were the light of her life. She loved her family beyond measure and never failed to say I Love You. She had a passion for cooking and baking and was well known for her love for doing jigsaw puzzles, listening to oldies but goodies on her headphone, and eating crabs. Nikky was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Nelsene & Elwin Lucas, her father Donald Sills, her maternal grandmother Lillian Stanley, grandfather Clifton Johnson, and brother Eljon Wofford. Left to Celebrate and Cherish her memory, her two sons and daughter-in-law, DaQuan (Taylor) Davis, Trevell Davis, granddaughters, Kiy'onna, Ma'Niya, and Ja'Miyah, grandsons Devonte and Zae Quan, sisters, Ebony, Starr, Devan (Joseph) and Arnita, brothers Galon and Elwin. Nieces, Tyra, Toni, Aniya. Nephews Jai Quan and Juisah, great-nieces Zoey, Amina, Nyla. Great nephew baby Tim. Great aunts and great uncle, Linda (Albert) Slade, Thyra Frink. A very special cousin, Althea, three dear friends and devoted friends Eva, Angel, and Karen, and a host of other family and friends.
