Mr. Wayne Tucker, Jr., 23 years old, of Petersburg, Virginia passed away on June 9, 2022 in Petersburg, Virginia. Wayne was born on December 21, 1998 in Petersburg, Virginia to Jennifer Spratley and Wayne Leon Tucker, Sr. He attended Petersburg Public Schools, Petersburg, VA. He was preceded in death by his godbrother, Avion Talley; great-grandmother, Blanche Smith; grandmothers, Frances Brown and Minerva Davis; grandfathers, George Roosevelt Davis and George Lacy Massenburg. Wayne Jr. is survived by his two sons, Kaysen Purtree and Khyson Tucker; parents, Jennifer Spratley and Wayne Leon Tucker, Sr.; second-mother/cousin, Tomesia Tucker; godmother, Saintell Talley; sisters, Laquelle Tucker, Tasheba Jones and Peyton Peterson; brothers, Anthony Parham, Ivey Jones and Kendrick Mallory, Jr.; grandmothers, Julia Dennis, Julia Scott and Helen Tucker; grandfather, William Dennis; godbrother, Ahmare Talley; godsisters, Eshanti and Ceonie Harrington; aunts, Angela Tucker, Michelle Harris (Marion), Samatha Williams and Shannita Harrington; uncles, Michael Tucker, Vertis Tucker, Ronald Parham and Reginald Parham; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, among them (devoted) Jetori Fells Tucker, Quianna Reid, Eboni and Essence Allen, Alexus Tucker, Quiasia and Robert Tucker and Byrant Cunningham; along with other relatives and friends, (a devoted childhood friend of fifteen years), Jeremiah Booth, among them his devoted brothers, Orlando (Bounce), Francisco (Six), Rell Johnson, Butt, Justin Watson, DeJuan Crenshaw and Jimese (Sosa). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Faith and Hope Temple Church of God in Christ, 1800 E. Washington St., Petersburg, VA, Bishop Herman Crockett, Pastor with Rev. Dr. Antonio A. Tucker, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Minnis Memorial Park, South Chesterfield, VA. The service will be live streamed. Public viewing will be Friday, June 17, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
