Mr. Cordale Darnell Christen Wilson

Cordale Darnell Christen Wilson effectually known as "REDD" departed this world on the evening of January 26, 2023. Cordale was born to Michael Christen and the late Ida Wilson Mizell. Cordale wasn't your average, but he was authentic in every right. He may not live life according to the standards of others. Cordale was a lover, not a fighter he loved life and could be goofy and funny in his own way. He could be the life of the party. Cordale's amazing smile would light up a room, change your mind when he makes you mad, and he could get whatever he needed from you with that smile that's just who he was. Cordale experienced challenges in his life but he would always find the fight he needed to overcome what tried to stop him. During this last challenge in his life, he decided to do better and be better by making a life-changing move of becoming a better man, son, brother, friend, and most important a better father to his children re-establishing an unbreakable relationship and bond. Cordale was preceded into eternal rest by his son; Jire Gayles, mother; Ida Wilson-Mizel, grandparents; Howard Christian Sr. and Etrice Christian, great grandmother; Pastor Ida P. Wilson, uncle, Anthony Christian, great aunt, Maxine Boswell, great uncles; Bishop Roam Wilson, Robert Wilson Jr. cousin; Roberta Wilson, Lisa A. Hunt, and Tavious Boswell. Cordale is survived by his young kings and queens, Jakia Wilson, Kemyha Smith Wilson, Raphael Gayles, Jesere Wilson, Zakhye Wilson, Cordale Christen Wilson Jr., Alonna Wilson, and Carter Wilson, father; Michael Christen, siblings; Michael Wilson, Thomas (Eretta) Wilson, Marquetta Wilson, and Jeremiah Wilson. Grandmother; Apostle Josephine Wilson, grandfather; Gaston McNeill, aunts; Tammy Wilson whom he had a special bond, only a language those two understood, Monica Harper, Deloris Young, Etrice Regina Christian, Donna Pirece, Betty Lassiter, and Michelle Bailey, uncle; Howard Christian, great uncle; Confidence Pringle, 9 nieces, and nephews whom he loved greatly, along with a host of other relatives and friends. There was and will always be Bernie Wilson who was his favorite cousin and will forever have a special place in her heart. One thing about Cordale his children were his everything and there was nothing that he wouldn't try to do to make sure they were ok. The love that he had for his children was endless and priceless and that same love was returned to their daddy. To his children, your daddy loved you more than words could ever express, and that kind of love could never be replaced. I know your hearts are sad and you may not understand but know that your daddy loved you and if he had one minute left, he would spend it with you just to say I LOVE YOU!
