Mr. Diamonte Deshaun Clay

Mr. Diamonte Deshaun Clay of Tempe, Arizona, departed this world to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, September 28, 2020 at the tender age of 24. Lovingly known as Monte, he was born in Mission Viejo, California on April 18, 1996. Diamonte made the decision to put the Lord on in baptism at the tender age of 14 and was a member of the Church of Christ. Diamonte was educated in the Peoria and Phoenix School Districts of Arizona. Diamonte was known for his kindness and big heart. His smile was infectious. He was a true people's person and loved to do whatever he could to ensure those around him were happy. Monte was a lover of sports, specifically basketball. However, his passion above all else was music. Diamonte was carving out a successful career in the music industry and was known as the incomparable DJ Cali. Diamonte was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Stevens; grandmother, Elizabeth Clair and devoted, Robert "Paw-Paw" Dilworth. Left to cherish his memories is his pride and joy, his greatest accomplishment, his one and only son, Kaison Adam Eubanks Clay; his mother and father, Letitia Taylor Crusoe and Cory Crusoe of North Chesterfield, VA; father, Sharrod Clay of West Covina, CA; three brothers, Treshon Blanks of Memphis, TN, Devon Clay of Mesa, AZ and Shane Clay of West Covina, CA; one sister, Ariana Crusoe of North Chesterfield, VA; grandmother, Cynthia Stevens and great-grandmother, Pearl Spratley both of North Chesterfield, VA; three aunts, Shalonda Clay of Pomona, CA, Makisha (Tank) Harrell of Long Beach, CA and Melody Stevens of Hampton, VA; two uncles Gary (Kaycee) Stevens, Jr. of Hampton, VA and Robert (Latosha) Taylor of Corona, CA; one and only niece, Braelynn Clay of Peoria, AZ; the mother of his son, Kimberly Eubanks of Richmond, VA; a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as life long, devoted friends, Brandon Robinson of Chandler, AZ, Courvoisier "Montreal" Gipson of Phoenix, AZ; his beloved auntie, Laura Brown of Peoria, AZ and his godmother, Chrisara "Tootie" Foster of Phoenix, AZ. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Tucker & Fisher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 415 Halifax Street, Petersburg, VA with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 P.M. The repast will immediately follow at the Sunlight-Williams Elks Lodge 1505 High Avenue Hopewell, VA.
