Mrs. Latoya Michelle Bullock

Latoya Vann-Bullock was born Jan 5, 1985, to Marvin Eiley and the late Philamena Virginia Vann in Newport News, VA. Latoya was blessed and surrounded by so much love to include the care and love of her father, Frank Parrott, who raised her. On Friday, July 29, 2022, the Lord called Latoya home to eternal rest. She is truly loved and will never be forgotten. Latoya graduated from Warwick High School located in Newport News where she resided. Latoya was known for her unconditional love and life of sacrifice. She loved God with all her heart and shared that love with all who came into her presence. Her smile was known to light up a room and bring joy to the hearts of many. She leaves her love and cherished memories with her husband, Gerald Bullock, who loved her and was by her side during her final days, and her two sons, Jalen and Jeremiah, whom she loved, cherished and gave tirelessly to on a daily basis. Latoya placed God first and foremost in her life and had a love and commitment to her children like none other. Latoya had a love for all, especially youth, as evidenced by her volunteer work at John Marshall Elementary School and Carver Middle School. Latoya's love and commitment to God were also evident through her servant-leadership at Restoration Christian Church of Virginia (RCC-VA) under the love, leadership, and covering of Apostle Charlie and Prophet Vikki Ammons and Pastors Ray and Danette Miller. At RCC-VA, she praised and worshipped with other believers and developed her faith in the Lord through hearing and studying the Word of God. She also loved her church family with the love of God. She was a committed leader within the Kingdom Kids Children's Ministry, By God's Design Special Needs Ministry, and a faithful volunteer in the Executive Office. Latoya willingly assisted in the Kingdom of God through community outreaches and any other way possible with the love of God. Latoya's dedication to God was visible through her ongoing commitment and ability to keep her sons active in Children's Ministry and the By God's Design Special Needs Ministry. More importantly, Latoya was a strong advocate for the rights and inclusion of the special needs population in the Kingdom of God. Her passion was evident when her vision was carried out in the last Autism Acceptance Sunday Service held at RCC-VA in 2021. Latoya's love remains with her brother, Travis Vann (Shemeka); sister Latonya Vann (Damione); her grandfather, Crist Alvin Vann, Sr. (Belinda); uncles Jacobie M. Vann, Crist Alvin Vann, Jr. (Amy) and Eric Michael Vann; nieces Amari Jackson and Avery Vann; nephews Anson Brantley and Amaree Vann. She also leaves her love and cherished memories with a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
